I provide research to support the sustainable management of marine ecosystems and fisheries. My work brings ecological complexity to the planning tools used to inform decision making. I am passionate about working with partners in government, industry and NGOs to develop research that solves real world problems. These partnerships have seen me work on topics as diverse as the conservation of blue carbon ecosystems, monitoring of tuna fisheries, management of coral reef fisheries and global climate science.
