Farhana Parvin is a three-time award winning reporter for her investigative journalism.

As part of her work, she always work with the people of different aspects of life, that helps her understand the deepest side of an individual. She has a keen interest of environmental journalism.

Her focus has been included topics such as forests, wildlife, rivers, biodiversity, climate change, and the energy sector, particularly its potential impact on the country's coastal and forest regions.

She got the award for best investigative report from UNICEF in 2015. Again from UNICEF in 2017 for another best investigative report. Also she won Best investigative reporting award from Dhaka Reporters Unity on 2018.
