I'm a researcher focusing mainly on how activists are not only using, but also working to reshape, key technologies. I've published academic articles on a wide range of topics, including food sovereignty activism in India; anti-fascist action in Greece; Facebook's use in tertiary education; Internet reform in post-revolutionary Tunisia; free speech online; and artificial intelligence. In 2015 my first book, 'Global Justice and the Politics of Information: The struggle over knowledge' came out. In addition to my work within academia, I've spoken at activist events around the world.
