Marlowe is a freelance environmental journalist based in Brooklyn with a focus on climate, wildlife conservation, coastal resilience, water quality, and the intersection of nature and culture. Her bylines have appeared in The New York Times, National Geographic, The Guardian, Mongabay, the Pulitzer Center, Sierra Magazine, Audubon Magazine, The Marjorie, Environmental Health News, the Associated Press, Earth Island Journal, and a variety of Florida news outlets. Marlowe is also a photographer, fact checker, copy editor, and she occasionally produces videos, audio stories, and graphics. She earned her master's in Science, Health and Environmental Reporting at New York University and graduated from the University of Florida with her bachelor's in journalism and a specialization in wildlife ecology.
