Welcome — here's how a Goodnewspaper subscription works, in plain language. Whether you're thinking about subscribing or you're already a subscriber, this page covers how you'll be billed, how shipping works, and how to cancel or get help anytime. By subscribing, you agree to the terms below. If something here isn't a fit for you, that's completely okay — you're welcome not to subscribe.

These terms apply to paid Goodnewspaper subscriptions, including print, community, gift, and international subscriptions. They're offered by Good Good Good LLC ("Good Good Good," "GGG," "we," or "us").

Your subscription and how billing works

The Goodnewspaper is a recurring subscription. When you sign up, you authorize us to charge your payment method automatically on a repeating basis — monthly or annually, depending on the plan you choose — at the price shown to you at checkout. Your subscription continues and renews automatically until you cancel it. We'll keep charging the payment method on file until you do.

The exact price, billing frequency, and renewal terms for your plan are always shown to you at checkout before you complete your purchase. Whatever you agreed to there is what governs your subscription.

Your charge will appear on your bank or card statement as Good Good Good or GGG.

Introductory offers, promotions, and discounts

From time to time we run promotional and introductory offers — for example, a free or discounted first issue, a bonus edition, or other limited-time deals. The specific details of any offer (what you receive, the introductory price, and the price your subscription renews at afterward) are shown to you at checkout when you sign up.

Unless an offer clearly states otherwise, introductory pricing applies only to your first issue or first billing period. After that, your subscription renews automatically at the standard recurring price for your plan until you cancel. You're welcome to cancel anytime — to avoid being charged for the renewal, cancel before your introductory period ends, since once it ends your subscription will already have renewed at the standard price. Either way, you're welcome to keep and enjoy what you've already received. Promotions and discounts are available only to subscribers with a U.S. shipping address.

Where we ship: U.S. and international subscriptions

Our standard Goodnewspaper subscription plans include shipping to addresses within the United States, and any promotions or discounts we offer apply to U.S. shipping addresses only.

If you live outside the United States, the International Subscription is the plan for you. International subscriptions include an additional monthly shipping surcharge, shown at checkout, to cover the higher cost of international delivery. Promotional and discounted pricing is not available on international subscriptions.

Because we collect your shipping address after payment, sometimes a subscriber outside the U.S. signs up on a U.S. plan. If you select a U.S. plan but provide a shipping address outside the United States, we'll email you to let you know and give you the choice: keep your subscription by moving to the International Subscription rate so we can ship to you, or decline and we'll cancel and refund you. If we don't hear back from you after a few reminders over a set period, we'll cancel your subscription and refund you. We're not trying to surprise you — we just can't ship internationally at U.S. pricing, and we'll never move you to the higher rate without your okay.

Keeping your shipping address current

Please make sure the shipping address on your account is accurate and up to date. You can update it anytime by logging into your account. We're not able to refund or replace issues that don't arrive because of an incorrect, outdated, or incomplete address, though we're always happy to help you get future issues to the right place.

Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel anytime, and we've kept it genuinely easy — no hoops, no retention maze. There are two ways:

When you cancel, we stop all future charges. You'll keep access to any issues already covered by your current billing period, and you simply won't be billed again.

Refunds

We want you to be happy. If you'd like a refund, just ask — email us at hello@goodgoodgood.co and we'll work with you. We handle refunds case by case and grant them generously, but refunds are provided at our discretion rather than guaranteed.

Damaged, lost, or missing issues

We stand behind every issue we send. If your Goodnewspaper arrives damaged, we'll replace it for free.

If an issue doesn't arrive at all, let us know by filling out the form at goodgoodgood.co/missing-goodnewspaper. We work in good faith to make sure every subscriber gets their paper, and we'll reship missing issues whenever we reasonably can. So we can make it right, please report a damaged or missing issue within 90 days of its expected delivery — we're not able to replace or refund issues reported after that.

We reserve the right to limit, decline, or end a subscription at our discretion. If we end your subscription, we'll refund any issues you've paid for but haven't yet received.

Questions or concerns? Please reach out before disputing a charge

If you ever see a charge you don't recognize, run into a plan mix-up, or have any issue at all, please email us first at hello@goodgoodgood.co. We can almost always sort things out quickly and directly — usually the same day.

We mention this because we're a small, independent publisher. When a charge is disputed through your bank instead of with us, it takes weeks to resolve and costs us significant fees, even when it's a simple misunderstanding we'd have happily fixed in minutes. A quick note to us is almost always the faster path to making it right.

Changes to pricing

We may change subscription prices from time to time. If we change the price of your subscription, we'll let you know in advance, and the new price will apply to your next renewal. If a price change doesn't work for you, you're free to cancel before it takes effect.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally as our subscriptions evolve. When we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If you keep your subscription active after we make a change, that means you accept the updated terms.

A few legal notes

The Goodnewspaper and related services are provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Good Good Good LLC isn't liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your subscription, and our total liability for any claim relating to your subscription is limited to the amount you paid us for it.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and any dispute relating to your subscription will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Tennessee.

Your use of our website and subscription is also subject to our privacy policy and other policies.
